In January 2018, two Wash U faculty members, Kate Wilson and Zoe Stamatopoulou, participated in a workshop on "The Logic of Lists", hosted by the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, D.C. Prof. Wilson gave a paper entitled "The Biological and the Literary in Nicander’s Catalogs" and Prof. Stamatopoulou presented on "Embedded Lists of Maxims in Plutarch’s Symposium of the Seven Sages”.
