Washington University Classics major Will Corbin has been awarded one of this year’s Manson A. Stewart Undergraduate Awards from the Classical Association of the Middle West and South. The awards honor outstanding majors in Classics from universities throughout most of the United States and Canada. At last week’s annual meeting of the Classical Association of the Middle West and South, hosted by the Washington University in St. Louis Department of Classics, Will both accepted his award and delivered a paper entitled, “The Spenser-Harvey Letters: Composing Identity through Quantitative Poetry.
