MA student wins competitive funding award for summer program in Greece

MA student Jake Pawlush has won the William T. Semple Award from the Classical Association of the Middle West and South to fully fund his participation in this year’s Summer Session at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. The renowned Summer Session is an intensive six-week program that immerses participants in Greece's landscape, history, material culture, and literature from antiquity to the present. The award is named for William T. Semple, longtime head of the Department of Classics at the University of Cincinnati.
