Katherine Kopp, first-year MA student and a recipient of the 2022 Kevin Herbert Memorial Award, has just received an award from the university's George R. Throop Endowment to support her summer experience with the British American Drama Academy Greek Theatre Program. Katherine’s successful funding applications will ensure a transformative experience this June, when - as she writes in her proposal - she will “expand her understanding and appreciation of Greek drama from theoretical to physical and tactile and engage in situ with material culture of antiquity through museum tours and visits to ancient sites.”
