Zoe Stamatopoulou to co-chair two sessions at upcoming SCS meeting

Associate Professor Zoe Stamatopoulou will preside over two sessions at the upcoming Society for Classical Studies Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

1. Friday, January 6, 2:00-5:00pm (SCS session 19), Celestin F: As co-chair of the Committee on Gender and Sexuality in the Profession, Professor Stamatopoulou has co-organized a session on Mentoring in Classics with our former colleague Caroline Bishop of Texas Tech University.
2. Saturday, January 7, 11:00am-1:00pm (SCS session 38), Bolden 6: As co-chair of the annual panel of the International Plutarch Society at SCS, Professor Stamatopoulou has co-organized the paper session “Disability in the Works of Plutarch and his Contemporaries” with our neighbor Dan Leon of the University of Illinois.
